I’ve bought two new upper hinges from Mopar and would like to do the same for the lower. I keep seeing only 96-01 compatibility. Can anyone confirm they will work on a 95 or is there some difference that will prohibit them from properly bolting up or working?

I know I can rebuild them cheaper but after paying for the upper hinges I ain’t f’n with them. I want to unbolt my door and bolt it back on.

Thanks

I thought they were the same? I think I used some 00 hinges on my 94.

I think I’m going to take a chance on them. Not sure why some people have the years split up like that, but others have 94-01 listed so I think it might just be a minor difference/part number that will still work.

Figured I would update this. Only difference I can find is the new OEM hinges have a bushing that looks to be rubber inlaid with brass strands? Almost like a roller bearing but I don’t think anything is moving in there. Hopefully these will wear decent.

Bought my truck with toasted hinges and the bushings were gone and the metal enlarged. Detent cam beat to hell. So new ones it was. I’ll post some PN’s later for anyone that runs across this searching the web.

These were listed for later model 2nd gens btw. They were identical to my 95 hinges other than the bushings. Oh and the pins are not removable.
