Alright, so I got a '97 Cummins 4x4 Automatic, and I am interested in converting my 47re to a nv5600 manual. Tired of not having the control of my trans. I have found a few possible deals on ebay, however I will have to jump on something later to due being in school. I was wondering what all would need to be changed like pcm (or just re-flash it), t-case, any wiring harnesses, mounting plates, input shafts, pedal assembly, flywheel, anything...
I would just like to see a solid list of what would be needed for this project, also where might be a better place to look than Ebay?? Thanks!!
 
clutch resivoir, master cylinder, slave cylinder, 4wd Nv65oo, pedal assy. don't believe that you need to change the pcm, seing is how the engne is mechanical...but i'm no professional. I'm sure someone with more knowledge will chime in. In the mean time this will get you started.

Try a salvage yard for a tranny, you can usually find them cheap and in good condition there.
