Another auto/5spd question

Hey guys, I'm in kind of a jam and planned on doing more research into this but I would really like to get this moving this weekend.

Here's what I have:
95 2500 RC/LB with 47rh and 241HD

My donor is a 97 3500 long wheelbase NV4500/241HD

So my only major question is what is the difference in the length between the 5 spd rear driveshaft and the auto rear driveshaft? I'm wondering because that seems like the only part that will not directly interchange across.

Also if anyone has any heads ups about whats going to give me a hard time let me know.

The driveshaft from the LWB truck should be a two piece. The one from the RCLB should just be a one piece. I don't know the exact length difference off the top of my head.

I realize that, I'm sorry I should have worded it better. What I'm trying to ask is will my auto tranny rear driveshaft still work after I put the 5speed in or will it be too short?

Yes, it will be too short. IIRC I had to lengthen mine 2 inches or so.
