Anybody have any tricks or tips to getting beat up V-band turbo flanges to seal?
I have a V-band flange on my compressor output, the aluminum face on the compressor is a bit dinged up from shipping and I have a section of my stock downpipe clamped onto it since I'm big on recycling.
I suspect it might be leaking a bit there. I have my real bad siren noises above 5 PSI reduced to just annoying whistles above 25 PSI now.
Is there some sort of gasket material I can clamp in there? Hell, is it supposed to have a gasket stock?
