Are the front and rear ends the same on a 2003 to 2006? looking to do a gear change on one truck and swap complete axles on the other.

here what they have now.
2003 has 4.10s
2006 has 3.73s

change too.
2003 to 3.73s
2006 to 3.42s

Can this be done or do both truck need gears changes to do it right?

If your 2003 has a 11.5 AAM I am pretty sure they are identical. Mine had a 10.5 before I swapped it out.
