I have a question for you all. I am starting over with a complete new frame, engine, driveline, etc. I want to use my cab and make a 10' bed. Most orgs follow PPL rules and I want to run 3.0 smooth. Can I just add 2' worth of outer bed skins or so I need to install the inner skins and floor? I looked on PPL website and read the rules I just want to see what everyone's thoughts are on this.
Thanks

If you're going 3.0 smoothbore it says you are required to have a full bed floor. Who knows if they enforce it or not

I know and I sent a message to Jon Mears about it. I seen some out at SDX that didn't follow that rule or a few others put let them slide. I know it also depends on who's stickers you are running.

Build to the rules and know that you are following the rules. I was so tired of "well tech didn't catch it so it is legal" mentality.

Dan vallance added skins and floor to an 8ft bed to make the chassis can frame work.
