Borgeson steering upgrade question

My steering upgrade should be getting here today, and I was wondering if there are any tricks to installing it. Or is it pretty much straight forward? I got the box, shaft, hoses, and pump. ('97 2500 12v)

If you got everything, it should be a very easy install.

I thought so, I was trying to find a video on it but no luck. The only thing I was unsure on how to do was the shaft. Do I have to pull my column out?

Shaft? As in the shaft that goes from the firewall to the steering box?

Shaft is collapsible. No need to pull the column. If you have a 3rd gen track bar conversion, look for a longer bolt to go into the steering box, as it only engages about 2.5-3 threads and will rip them out of the box. Been there, done that.

If you have a DSS, you'll have to oblong the holes on the pillow block mount, or move it entirely. About 3/8".
