Boxing the frame? How to do it right?

p7100

Swedish
I gonna box the frame from a c30 chevy and use it for a prostreet truck in a near future.
I was thinking how shall i do the boxing right, to get best strength and without it getting wrapped and curved after welding?

I'm open for all help and advice.
Thanks

and i thought i would be waiting for many answers since pulling is such a big sport in the states?
Somebody must have been boxing their frame?
Just want some advices

Its tricky. You want the frame to flex some, not like a noodle but still..

The guys that pull with the gasser chevy's would likely have more info on it. Not many on here are using that chassis.

i boxed my dodge frame and installed 3 round tube crossmembers toward the back, i used 1/4 steel i cut out of i beams for the steel plating dont know if it helps but good luck
