Sold my '02 and I've got my eye on two different trucks. Both have 25,000 miles and automatic 2500's. The only difference being, one is a 2011 and the other is 2013. About $5000 difference. My question is in which emission system to go with, is one more reliable then the other. They both have bone stock engines and emissions system's in place. Most likely will be leaving them stock and I dont pull real heavy trailer very often. An enclosed trailer full of dirt bikes is about it, maybe twice a month.

Any help is appreciated. Ive been doing my homework on the new engines, but im at a loss. I want reliability and best stock power.

Newer system is more reliable with scr and much less egr'ing. Dead pedal isn't worth it still. Delete either or grab the early model and be prepared to pay for emissions repairs.

Thanks, that helps. I probably will go with the newer truck and end up deleting, but only when the warranty has expired.
