i have a 7110 with a cummins 6t-830engine with an inline pump but its different from the p7100 on the dodges. is there an afc screw somewhere? or something else to turn it up? it is in desperate need of power i had it turned up slightly but when i had the pump rebuilt they turned it back down and now it feels like less power than stock.

I turned up both of my tractors, but just about 20 hp or so. I put mine on a pto dyno so I wouldn't go too far. My 8910 had 150, I went to 170. and my 7130 had 190, I turned it to 210. It was like 3/4 turn on that screw behind that little metal plate on the back of the injection pump, the smaller one, I think. You need a 10mm wrech and a screwdriver.

Egts are a bit higher on the 7130 now, but the 8910 stayed about the same.

i figured it out it is a cover on the back of the pump to remove and there is a jam nut you loosen and then there is a allen screw to adjust.

I have both mine turned up a little.....:evil....Our 7230 was rated at 170hp it now puts out 240 hp......Our 7240 was rated at 195 hp.....It now puts out 275 hp.....:st:.....This is at rated rpm on a pto dyno. The 7240 was pulled down to 300 hp before they backed off.

Gotta love the kind of reserves those Red ones have in em... There should be more to be had (and still usable in the field), that HX40 on those tractors should support almost 400hp without letting EGT's get out of hand. But then you would need to add a pusher pump, install a boost elbow, and advance the timing :evil

gotta case 2394. can ya get better and heavier duty powershift transmission parts for them?

That's the old case 12spd is it not? I'm not exactly sure, but I can ask a few people that pull the cases around here.

we have 2, 2394 case ih's that are 24 speeds, and we have 1, 2096 case that is the 12 speed.

we just rebuilt the powershift in the 1, 2394. and the other 1 is about due for a rebuild this winter.
