ok, so i have a friend that just bought an 03 dodge which ran fine until the other day under acceleration it started chugging. it idles fine but when you try to accelerate it chuggs. he suppose to go on vacation soon and he said there is no way he will be able to drive his truck let alone pull the trailer with the truck running like this. can anyone help :thankyou2:

Sounds like his FCA maby screwin up, need to put a scanner on it and see if the fuel pressure jumps up and down.

Thanks for the info. We did the lift pump test and it would only pump 16oz of fuel in the 20 sec it ran instead of about the 40oz we were expecting. put a new lift pump on and she runs like a top.:thankyou2:
