Ok, I am trying to run down a compression test adapter for that will fit down in a common rail head injector bore. Snapon man said he could order me one that fits the 98-02 ISB VP motors. He said he *thought* because the 98-02 motors, as well as the common rail motors are called the "ISB" that the adapter for the 98-02 would fit the common rail motor.
Anybody know anything about this interchange?
If nobody knows about the adapter interchangeability, what about the interchangeability of injectors? What I mean is, will a common rail injector fit down into the injector bore on a 98-02 head?? This would tell me if the two injectors will physically fit down in the bores interchangeably.
