converted 98 to a 5 speed... tail lights stay on now

i've got my 98 converted over to a 5 speed.. every thing seems good exept the tail lights stay on at all times only way to get them to turn off is disconnect the battery.... guessing it is somethin with the wire's i pulled off the auto tranny

when i switched my 98 to a 6 speed i had the same issue and it was from where the new brake pedal didn't come up far enough to push the switch to turn them off, so I just attached a small piece of thin metal to where the switch and pedal come together and haven't had a problem since

mine did the same after my conversion .....just adjust the brake light switch
