Just read all 18 pages of that thread... 44 pounds ! Man, that's a LOT of rotating mass to remove !

How much weight was removed from the crank you have ? I was mostly considering just making the counters "narrower" and knife edge and polish... Was thinking it might get 8-10 pounds maybe.
 
From what I've gathered, stock crankshafts are in most of the top hp b series cummins. Different animals than what you're messing with, but some things just don't need to be messed with.
 
Everything can be improved sooner or later... That's just progress ��
