d maxx y bridge

my custom y bridge for the d maxx, used a lbz y bridge and intake runners from a lbz 4500/5500
3"where the intercooler tube hooks on and then right befor the bridge it jumps to 3 1/2 "

it was a b*t*h to bolt up
im willing to make some for others if wanted,just pm me

thought about taking it on over to the side a little more,but likes hoe it looked,and yeah i thought about a elbow,didnt,want to many boots to blow! lol

I meant by either replacing the 'chopped pipe' sections with an elbow welded in, or actually adding another welded section to avoid th rather abrupt change in airflow direction

I would think 2 90* bends would get you where you need to be.

thats 3 30* angles that makes 90* the 90* wouldnt of worked any way the cp3 is in the way,you only have about a inch or two of space to work with befor you hit the cp3

i also looked into getting a 90* out of alum. but it cost big $$$, i only have $50 tops in it. cant beat that. . . flows great,makes the truck sound like it has a big aZZ turbo on it.also made 3" boost tubes as well.

I had the same thought. Mandrel bends in 3" 16 gauge 6061 are cheap, pick your CLR.
