At a loss. yesterday my wife's 99 f350 died and wouldnt start back got to looking and it had blown the fuse for the fuel bowl heater, idm, ECM, figured the fb heater had shorted like is common. unplugged it and replaced fuse, truck fired up and ran great. I took it down the road and ran fine, then after about 5 miles I let out of the throttle to make a turn and the second I touched the throttle it died, started back up and idled fine but the second you give it throttle it dies. Could it be a tps? I'm at a loss

And a lot of times the shorted fuel heater can be caused by an aftermarket fuel filter and cap pressing down on the heater element.

Ordered ae software it's supposed to be here tomorrow Ill see if it is throwing any codes and run some test and see what's going on. Thank you for the suggestions and help
