ECM interchangeability

did a quick search and didn't come up with anything

is it possible to pull the ECM out of an 06 to put in an 07 for testing purpose's without needing to be flashed?

07 is throwing a P0606 and want to make sure it's the ECM before hunting for a replacement

I'll just tell my dad to take it to dodge and have them plug into it

EFI Live will allow you to change the VIN on 2006-2009 ECMs, WITHOUT a flash.
That's the only thing that needs to happen to make it run.

All you need is someone with a V2 and their laptop and you're golden.
