EGR Delete Questions

I've been helping a friend out on his '08 LMM GMC.
We've got EFI Live by Danville where they electronically turn off the EGR. We've talked about eliminating the hardware on the truck, but is it truly worth the money and time? Does it make a difference and all that?

Not worth it in my opinion, unless you need the room for twins or something like that.

Not much of a difference on mine since I have a stock turbo. A lot cleaner under the hood and it has to flow a little better. Definitely looks a lot better.

I wouldn't say its worth it to delete, but if he has ran with the ERG working for a while, I would take the intake off and clean the soot out of it. Remeber you have to make some plates to bolt to the intake manifold to plug the holes where the EGR valve was if you want to delete it.
