Electric Fans and wiring ??

Anybody get rid of the factory fan and clutch and go electric ?
How did you wire it to come on at temp and also have the fans work with the A/C if needed ?

Use s flex a lite controller on Taurus fans... They are awesome and cheap

SWEET!! Ive got a set of fans from a Windstar. You wouldnt happen to have a part # for that controller would ya?

Does it come on when the A/C compressor engages or does it work off the pressure switch ? If you know?

Last one i hooked up, you tap the compressor hot wire with the proper control wire, so when it cycles the fan runs..

Im still gonna do it,just have to make a shroud of some sort or just mount the Windstar unit and make some support brackets.

Its not that easy, if you run a Taurus fan on a flex a lite controller you will burn up the controller they are not make for the current that a Taurus fan draws.

Use the search button there's threads on here and elsewhere about running taurus fans. There are options but in my opinion either run taurus fans on a switch with proper relays and fuses or just shell out the money and buy a flex a lite setup.

Why can't you run it thru the flex a lite box that's run thru relays ?
