engines in whats leaking

picked up this motor for my 1939 dodge pickup its in the truck and fired it up and have a pretty decent leak coming from the drivers side of the motor just above the ps pump. 96 12v with unk miles

any ideas where this is coming from?

Tappet cover

I agree. Possibly backside of your oil tee there.

Tapper cover. It's a common place for an oil leak on these motors. Both of mine leak around the tapper cover. Just haven't had the ambition to fix them!

Hope it is the tappet cover and not the KDP

I wouldn't think if the front cover was leaking, oil would show up that far back on the block.

Might as well do a cam while you're in there. LOL
