exhaust temps?

can anyone tell me what their egt's are running? i had an isspro pyro and today i installed new dipricol optix guages and my new pyro is showing approx. 150 degrees difference. i run smarty on 9 and with isspro guage i could peg the 1500 degree needle. now i would have to push it really hard to get to 1500. it was running about 800-900 driving but now its about 700. any info? thanks

check your connections and re-test. Chances are, your dipricol gauges are accurate.

I HAD THE EV'S

If it was EV² then I could definitely see a potential difference between the two, as the EV² and Performax series have temperature compensation (and are therefore MUCH more accurate than anything else on the market, especially during the summer when in-cab temps can be high). If these were the older EV series with the separate amplifier box, then I could see them being at one end of tolerance while the DiPricols were at the other end of tolerance.

I know 6.7L's with stock programming run MUCH hotter than 5.9L's, but I had not heard how they are doing with the latest programs.
