Fan Clutch

My FC isn't kicking on even when I turn on the AC. Do you guys recommend getting a OEM or aftermarket. I've checked with snedge and he can't get it because its a dodge part. Any help would be appreciated.

Dodge all the way! I tried to put two dorman replacements on a truck that were bad out of the box. The ones from dodge worked great. I have installed some dormans that did work but two bad ones in a row is too many for me.


A test for the clutch is to ground one of the wires (you can google which one) and the fan should engage and slowly come up to speed.

The fan does't come on with the ac clutch,it's controlled by the ecm ,I think from a temp sensor on the evaporator and maybe a pressure switch.
