flywheel bolts

I am getting no where fast on my Fummins swap, but finally got my Destroked adapter and crank spacer, but it looks as though I need longer bolts now? If so ho long do they need to be?

40mm iirc..call Dawna at auto world..she'll set you up real nice...

Got it, 14 x 1.25 x 50mm, 10.9 is what i was told to get

Cummins crankshaft is M12 x 1.25 not M14, We also carry these bolts.

Yeah its definately m12 not m14..and be careful on length..be certain bolt aren't to long..you'll run into a problem I had..Destroked machines their stuff so close it was hard to tell what was holding the flywheel and spacer to crank..the first set of bolts I got were 50mm with the integrated shoulder on the bolts..they're to long..I'll send pics if you need confirmation..and if I remember right I ordered a 12.9 bolt..the 10.9 is equivalent to a grade 5 bolt and grade 8 or better is what you need..pm me or shoot me a text 9282411074

8.8 is equivalent to grade 5, 10.9 is equivalent to grade 8, 12.9 is equivalent to grade 10

OK..I was told to use 12.9 that's an area you don't want to skimp on

I have 10.9 bolts in mine and no problems in 12k miles. I'm not racing or pulling either though, just towing up to 25k.
