Frame question?

Got a 97 3500 farm truck and ive found a good deal on a used gooseneck flat bed that came off an 07 cab and chasis truck. Question is will it fit? Main thing is the frame rail width the same?

Anything can fit with a little fab work. I'm sure someone else will chime in with a better answer soon.

Not directly. The CC has straight flat frame rails incorporated into the design. Problem easily solved. Yes, either cut some strips off of a sheet of plywood and layer them together or use a 2x6 that is cut to follow the contour of the framerails. Also verify the wheelwells on the bed. Coming off of an 07 CC (3500 only that year) it should be 60" cab to axle center. Later years had an 84" cab to axle wheel base availabe, atleast on the 4500/5500.
