Just want to know if i could use a Gas nv4500 behind my cummins, or what needs changed over etc THANKS

Pretty sure it's as simple as a bellhousing and input shaft swap. But I haven't done it yet and I could be wrong.

Which gas trans?
V10 works fine. I don't think anything needs changed, but we did put a different input shaft in ours for a triple disk clutch.

The NV4500 also came behind some early 90's Gm gas motors.

The nv4500 was used in a lot of applications. There is some variation to them. A dodge 360 nv4500 is not the same as a V10 nv4500 or Cummins nv4500.
I don't know which transmissions work and which ones do not. I am sure the information is out there though.

GM used a 1-1/16" input IIRC, and there were some different ratios for 1st and reverse.

Personally, I'd stick with a V10 or Cummins tranny....no real reason, but I use my trucks hard enough I hate having to remember what parts are what when I break them:D
