gauges vs tuner

Got an 04 f250 head studs, egr delete, 4 inch exhaust, aftermarket intake. Want to be able to keep an eye on engine with out hurting it. Its an auto so don't want to burn that up either. So what's every bodys opinion on which route to go. Also going to need pyro.
 
Think I will do gauges this yr then save up for SCT, autometer isspro, or glow shift. Gotta keep an eye on the big 6.0..
 
For gauges the cts is a great option.
Allows you to monitor more parameters.

definitely keep a eye on your eot and ect deltas. If the spread starts getting 15-20° difference once warmed up chances are you will need to have the oil cooler replaced.
