Glow plug relay.

I have an 85 f250 with the 6.9 and what I did with the glow plug relay was completely bypass it and install a push button to manually run my glow plugs and if you don't run the glow plugs more than 10s in one shot they seem to last longer I'm from Colorado and now I'm in Maine so it's not like it's warm weather suggestion.

You can run them a little longer for colder climates, but I still wouldn't go over 15 seconds.

just run them till they stop glowing and call them dark plugs.... lol
