Got to play with an 08

Well we lifted one 8" at my shop. Holy cow that exhaust is frickin hot! I was standing about 3ft away and it still was hot enough to burn my leg. The exhaust doesn't even smell like diesel either. Pretty cool truck but the price is kinda steep for me.

same suspension as the 07?

Suspension has been "updated". Track bar mounting points are different. Motor mounts are obviously different, but they affect the track bar brace. Sway bars use different mounting setup. Some various brake hardware is different too. They changed a bunch of stuff in the 08s, needless to say this was not fun building this lift.
