GT6041 turbo

Has anybody ever used this turbo? How does it compare to an HX82 as far as size and turbine flow? It appears to have a larger exhaust wheel and appears to have a larger and maybe better flowing compressor cover?

It states 129mm exhaust wheel, most HX82's have 141mm turbine wheels, although Garretts are known to flow quite well for a given turbine size.

The exducer of the exhaust wheel on the GT6041 is 118mm and I believe HX82 largest exhaust wheel is a G trim which is only 111mm.

I believe the gt60 is much taller.

The problem with the GT60 and GT62 turbine wheels is that they are stubshaft, the wheel is taller than the older G-trim as shown below.

Depending on what you are looking for, ABB might have something that interests you.

The shaft does not pass through the compressor wheel, makes aftermarket options pretty scarce.

Asea Brown Boveri, not too hard to get a hold of something with a 22mm larger turbine than the K44.
