I had the south bend HD Hydraulic kit installed about a week and a half ago. Yesterday while i was driving, the clutch went straight to the floor, no pressure. After further inspection, i realized that where the rod was no longer connected to the pedal, and found the snap ring laying on the floor board. I'm trying to re-install the snap ring to hold the hydraulic's onto the clutch pedal, but i can't get the damn snap ring back on. I see the groove where it's supposed to go, but with the rod (w/ the bushing thing connected to it) is on the pedal, the groove that the snap ring is supposed to go onto doesn't look like it's far out enough to get the snap ring back on. I've tried for over an hour, any help is greatly appreciated.
