Hood Stack with Fiberglass Hood?

Has any put a hood stack on a fiberglass hood? If so, any pointers would be great! I am worried about supporting/attaching the stack to the hood without craking it.

I put one on the corvette once. I welded tabs to the stack, and bolted the stack to the hood. I had a metal ring under the hood to incorporate more strength that was also bolted in with the same bolts that held the stack in place.

Another option may be a carbon fiber hoodstack from oldschoolfab. I've held one and it's niiiice. Lightweight too.

I agree with the carbon fiber hood stack idea. Light weight and very very little stress on the fiberglass. Especially long term.

I have a Grand Rock 6" stack on my carbon fiber hood it seems to be doing fine no cracks .
