rebuilt 47rh shifts great with od turned off but shifts like a sponge when turned on.

had it built but it turned out bad. its a very long story. finally got it about figured out other than this issue. tfod diesel kit in vb and trip disk convertor but im not impressed with this at all.
 
Is the place where you had it built a place where you can take it back to? The reason why i am asking is that there probably is a problem in the valve body. Most likely an issue that came about during shotty assembly. Other than adjusting bands and making sure the TV cable setting is right, the next place to go is to start disassembling the trans until you find a problem.
