Does anyone know what the actual differences are between the 6.7 and the 5.9 injectors?
Obviously the spray angle is different in the tips (03-04, 04.5-07, 07-09).
Don posted this regarding the 6.7 injectors "The control side is faster. It has less area to fill. A smaller control chamber and everything is lower in mass."
I've also read somewhere that the 6.7 injectors operate at a slightly different voltage/current level as compared to the 5.9 injectors.
Are the injector bodies the same design?
Can the 5.9 injector solenoids be removed and installed on 6.7 injectors?
Can the 6.7 injector tips be removed and installed on 5.9 injectors?
