Hey Dmax guys. Got a question for you'se guys.

A friend of mine has an 06 Dmax and wants to put on a new intake. What brand do you guys recommend?

probably just throw a AFE dry-s filter in there, when it gets dirty just wash it out with soap & water.
 
Kat has run 12.85 in a CC/SB at full weight on the stock element with 12,000mi on it. Air supply is not a big issue on LBZ's.
 
I actually tried running mine down the 1/4 with the stock filter and then took out the filter, no change at all, not even .01 gain in mph. Both ways was 103.63 at the end.
 
I just took the filter out, nothing else. Basically just trrying to decide if the filter really is a restriction at all. I have my box modified some also opening it up in the front area some since there is little space between the box and the fender.
