I was just wondering and wondering forever and ever... couldn't find the answer.. so I thought someone here might know....
Why do diesel injectors use 5 or 7 hole injectors, (or however many), instead of a cone spray pattern?
If I understand right, more small holes burns cleaner than fewer larger ones, right?
A cone shape atomization nozzle could flow way more than holes, so why bother with the holes at all?
This seems like it would allow more power, cleaner burn, win win?
There must be a reason for having the holes as opposed to a cone spray pattern, does anyone know? :thankyou2:
