ladder bars on an 05 f-350?

I have an 05 f-350 4x4-4 door short bed. I just put a 6" lift and 37s on it and now im gonna have to put bars on the rear. I have the basic idea with the heims on both ends and mounting it to the axle and frame but i dont know how long the bars need to be. Can anybody help? thanks
 
No real set length, normally when i build them i run them around 6 foot, and adjustable up to 6.5 to 7 feet long c/c s/b
 
Depending on your mount set up, measure from 3" below centerline of the rear axle to the approximate area on the frame that the drive shaft intersects it, as viewed from the side.
