Does anyone know if putting .100 larger valves in a 12v head for a pulling truck help or hurt the engine performance?

it helps dramatically. from a stock head with stock valve that flows 125cfm to a .100 bigger valve in a stock bore with a fully ported head you can gain approximately 90cfm over stock flow numbers. it's going to be around 85% more air than stock. heck yes it will help performance and will not hurt the engine at all. assuming it's strong enough to handle the power of course.

What valve size and spring combination do you plan on running as i am interested myself. What brand of valve and where are you going to purchase valves from. Thanks for any info. Jimmy
