lights from cab back dont work

When I bought the truck everything worked fine...now third brake light all the way to the brake lights dont work...does have a trailer break that turns all the break lights on even when the truck is off. Any information would help.

I'd start with the light switch. Pull it out unplug it and check if its melted on either the plug or switch.
 
put new light switch in worked for one day..have to pull the switch out just right to get the dash lights, cab lights and marker lights to work...replaced all the fuses still nothing..me and my buddy did some snooping on the wires and the trailer break is live all the time...so whoever hooked it up hooked it up wrong...
 
BigPapa: when the truck is off i can hit the trailer brake and all the break lights come on...who ever wired the trailer break in wired it in hot.
