Long term pump storage?

Well after driving this past week or so and dynoing yesterday I'm decently satisfied with how the truck is running with the vp right now. I have a ppump swap sitting here ready to go on that I am probably going to hold off on for a little while. Is there anything I can do to the pump to keep it in decent shape on the shelf? Fill it with oil and fuel and cap the lines? I just want to prevent having to get it rebuilt if I can for when I decide to ppump the truck because it doesn't really have that many miles on it.

Cap the barrels and stand it on its nose to drain all oil out, bag it and put it on the shelf. Mine was sitting for 2 years and put it on the truck Saturday, fired right up.
