Whats up with #6 rod journal? And yes we waited a year and a half on mike and still had to go get the motor and do it myself

My block is done, the rods should be done soon. If his rods aren't done soon, I will just go with Carrilos and be done. Im not waiting;-)

The pics were from a buddys motor

Have you seen the block or is that what Mike told you? Not trying to pi$$ in your cheerios but I was told more than once that I had stuff ready for pickup only to swing by the shop and have it not be done.

Not yet. But this isnt the first job i ran thru mike, when he doesnt answer your calls. Then its time to worry. I spend lots of cash with him. He was much better last year, came through everytime i needed something. But, trust me, i def here what you are saying.

Here is a small 2.6 motor me and my buddy built. We used an industrial injection gorilla girdle. It gave me the extra peace of mind.

But as disturbed said he has had good luck without one and his truck runs strong. Some people can keep a motor together and some can't.

So what if your block isnt filled should you run a girdle? And what are stock main bolts good for. Are there higher tinsel bolts you can buy that come close to the strength of studs That can handle 1000hp+
