May 25 - Roaring Knob Raceway (PA) - Open 2.6 Diesel 4x4

USA-EAST will open their 2013 season at the Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, Pennsylvania on Saturday, May 25 at 6:30pm. The Open 2.6 Diesel 4x4 class will run at this pull. USA-EAST points as well as points in the Global Truck Outfitters Series (GTO) will be offered. Pullers wishing to collect GTO Series points must either be a current member of USA-EAST or must be registered wth Full Pull Productions.

All persons will pay the pit gate fee of $25.00 in order to get into the Complex. Driver and Helper will be refunded at the time of registration at the USA-EAST entry trailer. Entry fee is $25.00. Purse will be paid as follows: 400 – 300 – 200 – 150 – 125 – 100 – 80 – 65 – 55/

Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex is located near the PA/MD line about 20 miles east of Uniontown, Pennsylvania and 14 miles from I-68 near Deep Creek, MD. The racetrack is a good clay surface (but a sidehill track due to the racetrack design). Richard Love's "Decision Maker" Transfer will be used.

is there not going to be 2.6 diesel at mercer raceway memorial weekend this year?

NO Open 2.6 at Mercer in May. Mercer Raceway will host the first WORK STOCK DIESEL hook of the year as the last class at their Spring Nationals on Sunday, May 26.

The 2013 USA-EAST Open 2.6 'Finals' will be held at Mercer Raceway in September. They do not want to run any of the same classes at each of the two pulls at Mercer Raceway in 2013.

ok i was just ceriouse because the farm and dairy is showing that there is a 2.6 class at mercer the same night as full pull is there but it is sanctioned under another club.

i see what you mean. the display ad in F&D was placed by an outside ad agency using information exactly from 2012 (except for changing the dates). this is a SPEEDWAY ad agency - they don't understand our classes at all.:nail:

Just a reminder to pullers who want to collect points in the GLOBAL TRUCK OUTFITTERS SERIES this year. You must be registered in order to collect points:

1. All USA-EAST members are already registered for the GTO Series
2. Others must complete an 'authorization form' - available at USA-EAST Entry Trailer (NO cost for this)

Points will only be offered to these two categories of Open 2.6. Diesel pullers
