when i was younger ( 4,5,6 years old or so) my dad built one for me that we still have videos of somewhere. It was the bigfoot version, at first he used a chain saw motor, it would eat a set of plastic tires. BUt he had made it four wheel drive and the thing would go anywhere, and carrier the front tires.
