Had the race in Caney, Ks today, truck ran strong and held it with the brakes till I had 12lbs of boost, ran an 8.057 in my class 2 run, that was good enough for a second place payout. There were 8 trucks total in that class.
I also ran in class 3, But they reworked the pit between class 2 and 3, and I ran 2nd in a fresh pit. I was 2 seconds off of 1st at a 10.41 vs 8.38. My brother won 1st in class 3.
The truck is a blast to drive through the pits, runs strong, I guess people are really spreading the word about the smoke billowing diesel truck. I did have a good laugh today, some people came up to look at the truck, and said they heard I had 30k in the engine. I damned near choked laughing so hard.
I'm trying to track down videos of the runs, since my wife/shaky videographer was home getting the house ready for my step daughters birthday party/slumber party.
