this weekend i put a new headgasket on my truck the head is oringed it was resurfaced and all redone and i am running a ten thousandth over gasket the truck will spit and spudder like it wants to start but never will just on the starter we pulled it down the road and it fired up but ran rough and then when we tried to bleed the lines why it was running it died is this a fuel problem or do i need to tourque the head studs to more than 125ftlbs to get the orings to seat right

thats what i would do......if you cant get the bubbles bled out check your filter housing lines. Another thing to check would be your shut off solenide is all the way up

You might want to tighten your studs to 135lbs. After you get it running.

Check the fuel lines coming off the back of the engine into the hard stainless lines. I didn't realize it but there's about 6" of flexible line off the back before the hard line and that's where my air leak was. Some of them are severely overlooked as mine was filled with cracks and holes. I'll try to get a pic when it's light out.
