You want to start in the lowest class in your area. Like workstock. If it is a two wheel drive you will compete against four wheel drive trucks. You will need to add weight to your truck to make the weight, 8000? Your set up will be different, weight added in back and maybe a higher hitch. You will need to go to some local events learn what rules they have before you start.
