Next year biggest diesel event? When and where?

If you're coming to meet CompD personnel, then the TS event is hard to beat. The Indy Nationals are the biggest diesel event with the most competitors and the crazy night life that I've attended.

IRP for crazy night life. Schieds if you want to tear up the streets and sled pull. TS event for awesome drag racing and crazy stuff day before the races and pulls (which I missed last year) :(

I don't know why nobody has mentioned the TDR's (Turbo Diesel Register) event called "May Madness." It lasts about a week, usually the first week in May, I believe. I've never been but from what I've heard it is the most comprehensive diesel event in the U.S. There are seminars, partys, pulls, races, partys, seminars, partys, and did I say partys? Seriously though, I've never been YET (planning to go to the 2008 event) but I've heard that it is the best all-around diesel fanatic get-together in the country. It is held in Pahrump, Nevada so you could visit Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Casinos galore, etc. The TDR is a Dodge Diesel group but the event is open to all makes. From your picture, I see that you have a Dodge, though, so you'll feel right at home!
And guys, what is the TS event that you mention? I know what Scheids Extravaganza is. I've been to the Indy Nationals. I want to go to the Texas Diesel Nationals in Baytown next year, but what is TS?

You forget though, you're talking to a racing crowd here. TDR's event is a great event but is more the older crowd that have 300K on their trucks. Plus, it's all the way across the country in Vegas.... if you're on the east coast.

TS performance is a company and race team that put a event on every year in KY at and close to their shop.

TS, Indy, SDX are edging ever closer to the 10,000 spectator mark.

The 3 events kind of feed off each other. If somebody new goes to one, they instantly start setting their vacation time off for the next one!!

Or vaction for all of the events :rockwoot: plus various dyno days thru the year and local chapter meets and car shows. Sigh :bang :hehe:

Truckfest doesn't have the big league Hillbilly Olympic tractor pulls but does offer a world class drag racing venue at Bandimere Speedway at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. I haven't seen any staging lane pics from the midwest events that look like this ;) It occurs the same weekend as the AMA MX Nationals up the valley so you can catch both events in the same weekend. It also occurs the weekend following the NHRA Mile High Nationals which means you get a sticky track and if you come a week early you can watch T/F cars go down the track at 300+mph. Then there's Shotgun Willy's for after hours entertainment... Colorado sucks LOL
