Not wanting to start and running rough

I didn't notice it until I put the airdog on but it's hard as could be to start and when I get it started I have to keep throttle on it to keep it from dying but shutters a lot and white smokes. I checked all the lines to see if air was getting through but it's sealed everywhere and the injectors are fairly new I know the timing is retarded some but I don't think that much
