NV4500 question

A NV4500 out of a 2500 Gasser....

I see the output shaft is different, what about the input?
will a 1 3/8 upgraded shaft fit?

any other info as to why not to use it?

I'm currently running a gasser NV4500 in my truck with no issues but then again my truck doesn't currently run.
