Oil pressure for a healthy 12v

Here is the 24 valve one from the zone website note the o ring and the 252.99 price

My sending unit is different from both of this one and the older one I got it fro cummins today and it is a direct match pn# 3932300 I will put it on when I get a chance but I am not so sure the sending unit is the problem after reading this.

Jgk when dealing with Cummins I just tell them what part I need and give them the cpl number this time I did tell him it was in a dodge . He said that that would probably be a Dodge item but he would try and He found it. I do have a good parts guy at Cummins and it helps that I am in the same profession .

Can you just swap an aftermarket sending unit to make the cluster gauge read faster/more accurate?

The computer modifies the signal in different ways at different times it reads lower than actual in the sometimes and higher at other times you might could bypass the computer and hook the gauge direct but then I dont know if the gauge will accept this type of signal. Thanks Rich
