oversized pistons

after contacting my local cummins dealers, they ran the engine serial number and are telling me that cummins does not offer a oversized piston for my motor. How can that be? My machinest is waiting on me to find out what sizes are available before he bores the cylinder walls. What sizes are available for our motors?
 
cr engines can get .5mm or 1mm oversized through the dodge dealers biult several engines with these pistons no problems so far...

yeah you can get them I bought these .020 overs from cummins for my common rail before they went to the machine shop
 
they come in .50mm and 1.00mm over from Cummins. Connecting rod bearings comes in .25, .50, .75 and 1.00mm

I have heard that you can bore a block and just put bigger skirts in to make the motor take more abuse is there any truth in that, if so it might be what your looking for
